Molokai

This island will take you back in time to the true culture of the Hawaiian people. The locals here fight hard to keep the island native and preserved from busy large cities. The heritage and lifestyle of old Hawaii shines through on Molokai. With only one location of small shops, a grocery store, and few dining places, this island is a nice and quiet getaway. Molokai is most famous for its Kalaupapa National Historical park, which is accessed by a supervised mule ride down the steep cliffs of Kalaupapa.
